Welcome to Kno-Good. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at www.kno-good.com, our Google TV / Android TV application, and our Chromecast receiver (together, the "Service"), operated by Kno-Good Labs ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Kno-Good is a collection of creative and cultural tools, including an art gallery that displays works from public museum collections, a television gallery mode, quote generators, and MapJest. The Service is provided free of charge. We do not currently sell products or subscriptions through the Service.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will try to give notice of significant changes where it is reasonable to do so, but we are not obliged to keep any particular feature available.
Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16, or the minimum age set by the law of your country.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law.

You keep ownership of the text you enter and the content you create using the Service. By using our tools, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Please note that images you choose to share through our quote tools are stored at a publicly accessible URL. Anyone with the link can view them, and they may be indexed by search engines. Do not include anything in a shared image that you would not want to be public. You can ask us to remove a shared image by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit any content you provide, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Several features, including MapJest and our quote tools, use third-party artificial intelligence services to generate text, narration, and audio. You should be aware that:
The artwork shown in our galleries is retrieved from public collection APIs provided by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago, and reference material may be drawn from Wikipedia and other sources. That content remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owners and providers. We display it for educational and cultural purposes and make no claim of ownership over it.
We do not guarantee that the artwork metadata, attributions, or descriptions shown are accurate or complete, as we present them as supplied by those sources.
Except for third-party content described above and content you create, the Service and its original material — including its design, code, text, and branding — are owned by Kno-Good Labs and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
Without our prior written permission, you may not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, reproduce, or redistribute our original material, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
You are welcome to link to the Service. You may not frame the Service, or present it in a way that alters its appearance or implies that it is your own.
The Service relies on third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.
If you install our television application from Google Play, your installation and use of it is also subject to Google Play's terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the information on the Service is accurate, complete, or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and given that the Service is provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kno-Good Labs against any claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Where the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
